A few images from the 2024 Solar Eclipse as it traversed across Southern Indiana. These photos were taken from Lebanon, Indiana which is just north of Indianapolis.

I had the opportunity to travel around Southern Indiana enjoying the amazing fall color. Although not as well known as other areas of the country, I think it produces images that are just as spectacular.

Had the opportunity to spend a week in Mount Rainier National Park during October 2023. I hope you are amazed with the fall colors.

Freezeout WMA is a wildlife management area that is managed by the state of Montana and is a major stopping point for Snow Geese as the migrate to Canada for the summer. These photos were taken during a photo tour of the area in May, 2023.

This is a series of photographs that I took in Grand Canyon National Park in May 2018. They cover both the North Rim and South Rim.

These photos were taken at locations around Page, Arizona in May 2018. Areas covered are Stud Horse Point, Horseshoe Bend, and Upper Antelope Canyon.

A few of my favorite photographs taken in and around Sedona, Arizona in May, 2018. I found the amazing red rock scenery and ancient petroglyphs to be equally inspirational.

In July of 1863 an epic battle was fought between the Union and Confederate armies that resulted in an estimated 100,000 casualties and forever changed the small town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The images below are a few that I took during my visit in October, 2017.

This series of photographs were taken in Saguaro National Park in April of 2016. The park is located (or should I say surrounded) by Tucson, Arizona and is a perfect example of the challenges associated with protecting large tracts of undeveloped land in a growing urban area.

This series of photographs was taken in Oregon Pipe National Monument in April 2016. Organ Pipe is a remote and rugged location that is located on the Arizona-Mexico border about 30 miles south of Ajo, AZ. The park gets the name from the Organ Pipe Cactus that is found throughout the monument.

These photos were taken in an area of Tucson, Arizona known as the Barrio Historico.

This series of photographs was taken on a visit to Arizona in the Spring to 2016. The highlight of the Desert Museum from a photography perspective was the Raptor Free Flight demonstration which had Owls and Falcons flying in close proximity to the spectators.

Photos of the brilliant fall color in the mountains of Colorado in around the cities of Aspen, Carbondale, and Ouray. Included areas are Maroon Bells, and Kebler Pass.

This series of photos was taken on two separate trips to Glacier National Park in Montana.

These photos were taken during the Bronco Riding competition at the North American Indian Days celebration in Browning, Montana during July 2011. This was an awesome opportunity to photograph a rodeo as we were able to stand right next to the fence with our cameras poking through the rails.

These photos were taken over multiple trips to Lost Maples Scenic Nature Area which is located just outside of Vanderpool, Texas. This relatively small state park is one of the best areas to view fall color in Texas. I've been told by park staff that the typical peak color period occurs each year over Veterans Day Weekend.

These photos were taken in Pedernales Falls State Park which is located just east of Johnson City, Texas.

These photos were taken during a visit to Oregon in 2014. They cover a wide diversity of subjects including The John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, The Portland Japanese Gardens, the Cannon Beach Area, and the Columbia River Gorge.

This is a series of photos that I took during a five day visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park which is located in western North Dakota.
